Tantra Massage Therapy
What is a Tantra massage?
Tantra massage is a method of healing that combines conscious touch, presence, deep relaxation and the exploration of pleasure. All of this stimulates self-healing processes on the physical, mental, and emotional levels.
During a session, you may experience a deep sense of relaxation, increased sensitivity and a stronger connection with your body. As you gradually let go of tension and everyday thoughts, sensations can become more vivid and subtle. Touch that may seem simple at first can begin to feel much more intense and meaningful as your awareness of your body deepens.
Some people experience warmth, waves of pleasure, tingling, a sense of lightness or a feeling of deeply letting go. Others may simply notice that their breathing becomes slower, their body feels softer and their mind becomes quieter. Every experience is different.
For some people, the session can feel deeply calming and nurturing. For others, it can be sensual, pleasurable and awakening. Sometimes it can be a combination of all of these.
Every session is adapted to the individual person, their needs and their current state.
There is no single way to give a Tantra massage. However, there are many techniques, methods, keys, and trigger points that a therapist can use, depending on the present moment and the client’s needs. Tantra massage therapy is about awakening the life force energy.
The experience is not about achieving a particular result. It is about becoming more aware of what is happening in your body and allowing yourself to experience sensations without rushing or having to control them.
Tantra massage can be very different from one therapist to another, depending on their personal approach, experience and way of working.
My approach is both sensual and grounded. I create a space where you can slow down, receive touch and explore your own sensations at your own pace, always respecting your comfort and boundaries.
My approach to Tantra massage is informed by modern science — knowledge of the human nervous and hormonal systems, and fascia.
